I bought the phone two months ago. The phone burst twice. It switchd off and suspend. The PC software doesn't allow to make a copy of phonebook, diary plaer and messages. Siemens servis always removes all data from my handset.
DENNIS i', serching for a new phone. this one seems good, can someone out there tell me more about this b/4 i commit, PleAse help!!. I need to change my Phone, it's falling apart.

bernie I really like this phone, except for some things that have been mentioned here: battery life is terrible. one day and half if you're taking pictures or playing with it some. No bluetooth, no IR, no cable, the only way to get pix out of it is thru MMS and that costs 75 cents a pop here in Oz. Phone shops tell me they can't even GET a cable for it. Why didn't it cone with one, since there's no other way to talk to it? I wanted some ringtones, no way to get them, so I recorded some. Beautiful. You have to hold it really close to the sound and it works very well after a few tries. The screen is the best. Made by Arima in Taiwan. Software must be Siemens cos it's sucky like their others.

no connectivity to pc-other phones,battery life,no video,no java,small buttons.

JOHN Well i like this mobile a lot but: no JAVA, no Infrared port, no Bluetooth what is going on anyway? no brain? Please fix it with the st55i.

lovely LOTS OF PROBLEMS? Because this phone is not originally made by Siemens, Germany but was subcontracted to a Taiwanese company. Yukk.. what a shame! I'm still using the great SL45. Waiting for 2004's best from Siemens.
