Leonard Great handset,excellent display.It's a very reliable phone and the extras are amazing, but the most important feature is that the "SIEMENS SL 45 DATA EXCHANGE SOFTWARE" (provided with the phone) converts voice memo files to WAV files that you can use with your PC. I would also like to indicate that while this phone is absolutely marvellous, there is still room for higher ringtone volume. Anyway, my congratulations to SIEMENS. The best phone I ever had (and I've had quite a lot of mobile phones: NOKIA 3210, 3310, 6210, 7110, 6310; ERICSSON T28, R320, SONYERICSSON T300; ALCATEL OT 701).

Lance it is THE cellphone, it kills T68, 8310... but u need to buy an extra usb MMC reader to be able to take fully advantage of the mp3 player, and be patient while reading ur sms messages (soooo slow!), so if u make these sacrifices, and accept the fact that it is not triband and doesnt have greyscale display(as the nokia), just buy it. my unit doesnt turn itself off like i read in some reviews, and its price is going down. PS:i am really objective, as i hate the other siemens handsets, and i am used to ericsson menus.
FONE CRAZE What are you guys talking about the problems with the battery??? NO idea...and i haveto say that this fone is awesome the amount of feautures that this handset incorporates is magnificent. it is much better that the Ericsson T68, Nokia 8310.. and i have owned these fones..the SL45 simply outclasses both..
i know what you might be thinking that i am Siemnes advertiser but am NOT!! finally the only problems i have had is the REPEAT function on the Mp3 player and i cant seem to add some songs to the playlist successfully.. Any suggestions? please E-mail me!
