Jay I bought this phone for my wife a few months ago. Very nice attractive design but... That's the only good thing I can say about the phone. The menu system is too complicated (I used and owned both Ericsson and Nokia and this one stinks!). The IR communications is faulty. Tech support in the US is terrible (still waiting for a response to a claim made 3 months ago...).
Too expensive. Not recommended.

Sam I bought a Seimens S40 cell and after charging it, i used it for few minutes and the phone went off.The cell doesnt come on again even with a new battery.
Pls what cou;d be the problem?

This phone is well designed but the software is such a rubbish! after 2 months i bought this phone, the software started to have a lot of problems. 1st, the inbox of the phone loss! how can i phone without a inbox and cannot read the sms from friends? 2nd, when want to create melody, it comes out "not enough memory"! how can a phone stated that can compose 20 melodies cannot compose any melodies??? i really scare thee will be lot problem coming out! This phone is the shame of Siemens company!
atapol puspakom i am sorry to say this but for those who have problem with this phone u better have a better line as my phone works perfectly.another thing the battery life depends on the usage and also the transmission of the line. if u are in a place where the transmission rate are low, your battery life will be lower.thats all
