Siemens CF62 Details

Siemens fan To Dominic:
My dad's phone had that battery issue, it would last for only a few hours of normal use, turn off while charging, become hot while being used.. i considered buying a new battery then i read your post, i wasn't sure but i gave it a try and to my surprise, it worked. there was a contact between the battery and metal parts beside the sim, the phone now is normal again.
Thanks for help, now i have a reason to root for Croatia in The World Cup..

joe blow I bought this phone not to long ago im already having problems with it. Shuts down by itself does not work at times. BAD PHONE

<unknown> is it cute? yeah it really is, but i often see the low-batt blinking on the display... also, it is really really slow processing... i don't even dare to run a java application on it...

shrincu This phone really sucks. I think all the good comments on this forum were made by Siemens employees. It shuts down on its self several times a day. It freezes several times a day. The battery life is shorter than it should be. Some functions stoped working after a while. I've had this phone for over 6 months. Don't buy it. It's the worst kind of junk.

panjabi rokc star i THINK it looks like a kewl phone, i am getting it in 2 weeks , but ur comments r makin the phone sound bad only wid its battery life , is there anything else bad in it? and can u download ringtones? i'm 13 and i want it 2 work properly coz at the momment i have motorola c201(pretty crapy rite?)so is the phone bad in any other ways apart from battery an can u download ringtones?

<unknown> Have had the CF62 for about a year now, and was ready to buy something else. I like the phone except for the problem about shuting off by itself at random. Thanks to the perosn that posted the fix for this problem: putting a peice of folded paper between the Sim card and the battery. I did the fix about three weeks ago and it hasn't turned off since. So now I don't have to buy a new phone. Thanks guys!!!

Ryan Yea, obviosly you did something for the LCD to break smart stuff. I dropped it on concrete floors over a dozen times and it still outperforms. My battery lasts for a week. I dont know bout u guys but my phone has no problems.

carlos hi i bougth this phone back at portugal....and it wast good but suddenly the phone shuts off... by it selfs what @#$*& i do not recomed this phone realy!

Gerre After my ME45 was stolen I wanted something cheap. Phones are consumer products, not jewellery.
Last friday my Siemens died. I had it for about a year. The last few weeks my CF62 started to freak. Shut down with no reason, freezes, ... In an angry mood I smacked in on the table and the screen broke.
All in all my cheapest Siemens and a bit of a dissapointement. Software is very slow, and build quality can't touch the older and more expensive Siemens. Paint chips way too easily. But I still like the design, I love the flat-style keyboard. Types very easy!
My CF62 is now replaced with the ME75

<unknown> TERRIBLE
shuts off randomly
flimsy build
graphics are suitable for a 12 year old
battery does not last as long as advertised by siemens
slow
