Siemens C72 Details

profftnt Hey, just got this phone, looks great, but one question - how the hell do you record video on it? I have read that people have recorded 10-50 second clips but i can't seem to locat how to do it! Please reply :S

Andrew Note that there is also an IrDa port on the side of this phone. Probably not easy to spot if you're not looking for it. If you have a laptop then more than likely you'll have a matching IrDa port on it. (try checking the PCMCIA slots) It looks like a dark red rectangular plastic plate about the size of an earphone bud.

TONY Ijust bought this pone and i cant find anything like video operations can i get somehelp please moreso its not stated in the manual please help BEWILDERED?

- Does the keypad lock automatically if we forget it?

A: YES. One minute after standbye, the keypad will auto lock if you set it.

- Does it have themes?

A: Yes, and there are tons available in the net.

- Does after send a message, the report message saying if it was sent or not make any sound or apear in the inbox silently? (Samsung beeps when a report arrive wich i dont like)

A: You have many options: Siemens has info tones, you can turn if off or on or extended tones. generally a very short audible beep will be heard after the message is sent ot not, but again this can be disabled or enabled.

- Does it vibrate at the same time as it rings? (cause in samsung or ring or vibrate, or ring first and vibrate then which i dont like too)

A: Yes, vibrate and ring at the same time. It can also be ring only, vibrate only. And you have selections of vibration modes.

- To lock the keypad we have to press just one key, not as the nokias right?

A: one key only, press and hold number(#) sign.

halim so...like MC60 plus infrared. It better if M55 plus camera and infrared because more interesting design...

Eskimo After setting the device up it didn't have any power. A fully drained battery would take 2 to 4 1/2 hours to reload. Having it recharged overnight, it still didn't work. Together with the poor design (battery cover) this opts for a return to the shop and no Siemens for me again.

kunio just bought today in Jakarta (Indonesia) at roxy mall for IDR 890k, roughly around USD97. Menu pretty good, quite responsive, camera quality not bad for vga, but the ringtones are not funky enuf. gotta download urself. cant play mp3, wav is ok. it has speakerphone function, one thing that i couldnt find on any brochure. for this price, i think it's quite a complete phone with reasonable specs. no radio tho'.

<unknown> I'm trying to disable the sound that the C72 makes when we take a picture but I can't find any instructions in the user's manual or in the internet. Could someone give me this information or simply there is no way to disable that sound? Thanks.

kunio guys, do anyone know how to get/install chinese and japanese input? and T9 for chinese and japanese? if it's available? thank you...

dman Exelent fone for the money. Simple to use. cheap with all the gadgets of a 70 quid fone. Easy to live with.
