Siemens C55 Details
ADEWUYI it is a phone with so many functions like those of the camera type. but it has a problem of on&off. no power on after 2 weeks of purchase
anwar I like this phone it is great it dropped down hundreds of times and nothing happened to it. it is small, light, hardworker, and much better than nokias that i used to use.
Jason Hi I bought this phone..looks ok. But the message ring is very low, you hardly hear it. Did anyone experience this too? I am using descreet 2 for messages. All volumes are set to maximum, but still you hardly hear the messages ring. Is it possible that Siemens know about this but still launched the phone?!
<unknown> Nice phone with great performance. Looking forward for C60! =)
Ufuk Eralp i couldn't connect my c55 with usb cable to my pc. my system is windows xp professional. the system couldn't recognize the phone. ı've only got the telephones gprs shoftware. Can i find c55 shoftware from someware....
regards
Tarcísio I bought one c55 and im very happy with him. Here in Brazil it´s very expensive and almost top of line siemens. Im enchanted with my mobile phone.
zorkor Only one problem..........Just where the hell is the sound of this phone, it seems that either the siemens people thought that all users will have sensitive ears or the design engineers had sensitive ears that they MADE THE RING VOLUME SOO LOWWW!!!
Ased-WolfPack hey guys this cell ez da best........the best way to keep it is to break it!!!!!!!!!!!! :) siemens good work.....
Dotto REALLY good phone. After an Ericsson (a3618) that kept breaking and wouldnt be reaplaced because Sony-Ericsson Australia kept saying it was our fault I got this phone for AU$250, knowing Siemens were on par with Nokia for quality. Must I say it was one the best purchases I ever made!
This phone has polyphonic ringtones - they sound great. Also the sound recorder - It's not so great for recording parts of songs, but it's still cool and great for taking voice memos.
There's extensive EMS, pictures, sounds and animations, WAP and GPRS, and useful stuff like an organiser, voice command/dial - voice command is VERY useful and pretty accurate, calculator, currency converter and Java apps (games, a reminder list and a utility to convert cm-inches, km-miles etc). Plus all the little things like a soft-key, analogue clock screensaver, the clear display and the user interface that Siemens get right.
Drawbacks? Well the Java apps are abit slow to load but it's good enough...that's it really - haven't had it for THAT long so I'm not sure, but my mum has owned a c45 for 9 months (lasted longer than my old phone) and no troubles, so I hope this c55 won't dissapoint. For a 80gram phone, it sure feels sturdy - so it's a good sign.
Just a few comments and questions...
Although that picure is blue with a orange backround, in Australia at least it is sold in a whitish colour that glows green in the dark with a blue backlight.
Does anyone know where to download polyphonic ringtones for free or for a very cheap price (that provides for Australia)?
In conclusion, this is an excellent phone. It beats anything in its price range and has lots of features, excellent design, great performance and great quality. A good buy. Great work Siemens!
dyo it's ok for me, so cute, i like it, but c55's sounds are hardly to heard. all function in c55 are ok, let's use it.
