Siemens A75 Details
Jerome Linton I find this phone to be very nice for a siemens brand i think they are trying to make a difference on the market
Styx Very attractive phone, from a certain distance u can't tell if it's a 200$ or a 19$ phone (i paid 19$ for it).
If u delete some useless stuff from the memory, like T9 database, u can get around 300k of free space where u can put pictures, gif animations, polyphonic ringtones (that sound really nice). GPRS is very nice too if u want to surf the net.
Bad things:
-has Java but u can't get new games on
-no support for musical .WAV files
-no notes/tasks/appointments function
-the LCD is a "classic"
Klaus I like my Siemens A75. It's small and for 16 $ I think it's convenient. For simple needs (calls and SMS) it's very good, it has a pretty decent screen and good ring tones. The GPRS is not sufficient, it needs MMS, like the A65.
feras !!!! the new model contain 65k screen and up to 256k , whats up with the new seiers ??? its made to drop
<unknown> I bought the Siemens A75 for europe and it works fine. I was taken aback at first because its not as flashy as my phone in the states, but otherwise, once I got it working, it does everything I need. T9 can be turned on or off when your writing a text message by pressing # a few times. The only draw back is that I'm using a SIM card Italia TIM, and I have to constantly recharge minutes with a ricarichard. When I got outside of Italy, to other european countries, I'll have to get a roaming plan, anyone know anything about this?
Assad very goo ..........It runs almost threee days with one charge
<unknown> how do i delete the T9 database? anynone??
Ciprian It`s a cheap phone. Don`t expect too much of it but then again it costs as much (or should I say as little) as a Nokia 1100 and, let`s face it, it does a little more. It doesn`t go 7 days on one charge and it doesn`t have a flashlight but it has 4k colours display and 32 strings polyphonic ringtones, GPRS and many more. What it does NOT have and I would need is MMS, a smarter and more "Nokia like" menu and cell info option. Oh, and it looks quite fine. What I would like to ask is if anyone knows if there is any data cable available for it.
European boy I bought Siemens A75 yesterday on some action sale. It has great desing, battery has long duration, but it doesn`t have anything what today`s mobile phones must have - such as IR, bluetooth, camera, MMS. If you need just a mobile phone for SMS and for calls this is very good mobile phone. It cost me around 46 euros, but I got earphones and 45 around 45 euros on my SIM card.
x3ss Come on!i just bought the phone and i think it's a piece of junk![almost]
I hear my self in the speaker,when i talk,louder than the pearson i talk to...I also have a nokia 7250 [that's quality]
the siemens is too poor for my taste i should bought sony-ericsson T290i-bigger phonebook,MMS support and slleker :P.The only thing i appriciate at this siemens is that it is verry solid...no moving parts or squeeks :).
sorry for the bad english ;)
