Stuart RE:*Joel* You need to connect your phone to a 3G/UMTS network and I'm not sure if there is one in the Phillipines. Try talking to your local phone shop.
Gene I have received this Sharp V801SH cell phone as a gift from a friend in Japan. I am in Canada (Victoria) and wish to find a way to unlock it from Vodafone so I can connect locally. <unknown> There's no way to unlock the V801SH. It's not like the 902 European model that just came out easily able to unlock. I have two V801SH and believe me there's no way to unlock this phone. I think it's way better than the new 902's, 802's etc. They are way better in fuction wise.
