niko I did a lot of research on the t509 for tmobile in US. There's no way you can shut off the camera sound. It's a bugger! Awesome phone. I love it. So-So voice quality. A bit longer compare to other bar phones. But i love the weight. Skinny phone like my hot body.

MJ I have 2 BIG problems !!! 1: I can not transfer a jpg picture on to this phone! 2: what format do the songs have to be in order to set them as "ring tone" ? I tried, mp3 and 3gp. I tried to send mmt from my t809, and from my computer, but the transfer would not work! please HELP !!! thank you in advance. MJ.

Swede Yup you can use mp3 as ringtones. Just select it from the profile menu...!
Jay Review says it has polyphonic tones. I've heard of MP3 tones.
