nismo Oh, by the way, I purchased my USB cable off ebay for $6.00 plus $14.00 postage and handleing. Saved me a hell lot of money but as I said in a previous review, it doesn't send MP3's to my phone =[ If anyone knows how to do it can you please let me know. I have followed every step but I think the cable is rigged or something. Thanks.

<unknown> i've had it for a long time already and i'm very pleased. transferring files between computer via ir is completely possible with the right software. caller id is shown only on the internal display, external only shows caller's name or number. games are installable only from internet. 8MB memory isn't very pleasand, but can handle with it.

Unicorn Did not like it... why have such a selective irda and no bluetooth?!! I had to buy a data cable to transfer images and sounds from and to my computer. Why not have the posibility to enhance the capacity using a memory card? Or to listen to some music... it can only receive files that are less than 95kB in size.
Even if the battery lasts quite long and it has a powerful speaker and a nice design (I despise phones that have external antennas) I still think it does not worth the money and I'm trying to get rid of it but nobody wants it.

smelly belly if you have read the reviews of others and think its not a good phone then try looking at other ones...n i agree with that person who said just send sms and talk for gods sake... whats with people who need all this super smart stuff. arnt phones orignally designed to talk on them not have the internet, play games, bluetooth, infrared, and all that mumbo jumbo...DOES IT REALLY MATTER?

instal The Samsung PC Studio II 2.0 PIMS & File Manager
The Samsung PC Studio II 2.0 PIMS & File Manager folder is added automatically to the Program Files folder when Samsung PC Studio II 2.0 PIMS & File Manager is installed.

COM1 is the default port when Samsung PC Studio II 2.0 PIMS & File Manager is started IrDA is shown as an option if available.
(The Windows 2000 should first be updated with windows Service pack 3 for IrDA support.)

Darrell It's a good phone. The only problem seems to be the infrared port. It's just designed to use in contact cards tranfers. I use an USB Data Cable to upload and download files to/from my PC.

<unknown> Does Jamster support MP3 Ringtones ringtones that X660 can have?

bizarre Samsung X660/x660v comes with a small restriction: you cannot upload/download something on it unless the file size is smaller than 100 Kb, that`s why video stops randomly(it stops when the size of the video is arround 95kb, and this depends on the light, sound and other...)
I searched the internet, but it seems that nobody knows how to remove this restriction.
(if you know how, please let me know)
