<unknown> hey,i wanted to know if the samsung Irda port is compatible with nokia 6600 Ir port.
can anyone tell me how to do it?

Prasanth i find it as a nice phone in this price range.but i`m not able to play ringtones that are send from other mobiles.Also whwnever i select some menu function some sounds will be played, which i dont want..Can anyone give me some solutions for the above two???

Dr. T. Dishisha i have bought that mobile 1 month ago and i found it verg wonderful with a very good resolution of camera that is really absent in other nokia phones and the amazing polyphonic that is known for samsung product.

i wanna tell every one that the IR port of the mobile is used only for transfer of phonebook data not for transfer of pictures and ringtones and there is a data cable for transfer of pictures and ringtones from and to the pc.
if u wanna software of samsung mobile u can download it from samsung website this software include huge number of photos and 40 polyphonic as a cadeau also there is a photo editor to can download any photo to ur mobile with ur favorite changes.
the memory is small but it is very good for that price and comparing to other phones of the same category of other companies.
the largest problem is the confirmation sound which can't be stopped till now.

abhi yeah it got gud cam, but it dont hav any vedio recording if we compare to other brands in the same range like sony ericsson k3ooi it got all the features, even modem n its drivers

if any 1 knows abt the modem information abt x620 plz tell me

manoj it is good handset.i want to download all the photoes taken by mobile but unable because of non availability of datacable.may i know the source for downloading. can i down load all photos through infrared on my pc.
let me know the source to get datacable in nasik

kevin hi wanted to buy the phone in kenya bt they seem unavailable when i asked one of your dealer here was told that they had a problem and they were recalled back.wanted to find out if it is true and when they will be available because i have read the features and i think i need it please update me urgently before i change my mind

NK For download from the cellphone to PC---->
Go to Samsung website and download the "Samsung PC Studio PIM and File manager" software to your PC/Laptop having IR. Install the software, align the IR ports and download from cellphone.

<unknown> I bought this phone 3 months ago after reading most of the reviews. But later i found there is a problem with the software, the phone gets restarted at least once a day, and at times it even resets all the settings in phone. When i went to the dealer since i have the Warranty, they said its a problem with the type of SIM card i was using(but it worked ok with my last phone for 2 years). Later i found couple more ppl with the same problem (one with the same model X620, also with X700) and got to know theres a prob with this series of models. Actually the dealer gave back the phone saying they have updated the software, but the deleted settings were not restored. I can set up the FM radio channels and other suff again, but the phone's IMEI no, Production Date etc(accessed via *#8999*8378# secret menu) were set to all zeros !!!!

Add to this were another prob, where the phone gets stuck giving a strange display or unable to switch on, so the only thing is to remove the battery and put it back again.

So even though still i love the phone for its looks and style, i do not recommend buying this or any other models of the same series(which has the same software with bug).Its too bad such a nice phone has this kinda big problems :o(

At last no one wants to spend their money on a phone which doesnt operate properly.
