Samsung E900 Details
suz i think this fone is real sxi the only problem i think is that it doesnt ring loud enough so i end up wiv loads of missed calls this is my first samsung fone and i am really impressed wiv how easy it is to use the sensor keys take a couple of days to get use to but after that its an enjoyable experience for everyone complaining all i can say is what more could you want for your money
darren tis phone is amazing in evrythings specification...i just not have any complain about it..just the sound of the phone is too low to hears it...i`ve very feel inprasing by tis phone...very exellent and it defeneliy good than d900...thx
lisa e 900 i have not acquired one of this , however the phone looks cool....... keep up the good work samsung
jeff I have just acquired a E900 after having an LG Choc and can honestly say there is no comparison- the e900 is far superior in almost every aspect. Perhaps the chocolate feels slightly better put together but only just. E900 rocks and I can't recommend it enough for slide phone lovers.
Amy I have had this phone a month now and at first i loved it, but i am selling it now and i've been in 2 shops and one offered me a tiny £80! and the other said they wouldnt even consider buying it, so that tells you something. Its not as fancy as other phones, you cant really do much more than you can on older models of samsung and the touch buttons are very annoying either too sensitive or dont work. Dont buy this phone! (Unless u wanna buy it off me lol)
<unknown> E-900 is wayyyyy better in appearance
loopylulu hi i'm looking at buying a phone and was wondering what are the ups and downs of this phone? Like is the battery, camera etc good? or bad? And are there any things that make it great or let it down? Please amil in reply
loopyxx
<unknown> I'm really excited about this phone. Does anyone know if it's available with any carriers or if you just have to buy it and sign up for one? I have T-Mobile now and I want to upgrade, and I know they're coming out with some new phones at the end of the month... any chance this might be one of them?
<unknown> Hi.. The phone slide key locks so their is no possibility of calling anyone when the phone is in your pocket.....
will v This phone looks amazing, and the battery life is fine (5 days left on overnight), the sms reminder is useful and you can turn the stupid beeps off with the volume keys on the side of the phone. (also these keys hide a flashlight function when held down).
But it has some really annoying flaws. You cannot fast forward aac music which is pathetic for a music phone. During charging the backlight stays on and keeps you awake(there is no disable like on the d600). It only has vibe then ring mode (not vibe & ring) which would be ok but it only gets 1 ring in before you miss the call. The touch buttons make accidental presses common. No voicedial. Viewing pictures causes a huge lag time. You cannot simply send via bluetooth you must pair devices (with password). The camera settings reset whenever you send mms. The video backgrounds are only available in the poorest quality and smallest size so they only cover 1/4 of the screen. Plugging the charger in is really fiddly and stops you from being able to hold the phone properly as it sticks out the side.
But the worst thing is the texting. There is no 'previous' button when selecting t9 words so sometimes you have to skip through 30 options, if you miss the one you want or the 'add' option you have to press the button another 30 times (if you miss it again it does your head in). Also there is no way of removing words from the dictionary. It gets worst... When sending it doesn't automatically save to sentbox so you don't know who you've replied to. Then it automatically chooses a friend from your phonebook to send to. When you choose from recent recipients it adds to the list instead of replacing. Therefore this time saving function takes longer than looking in the phonebook. From finishing a message to sending a message ends up taking 20-30 keypresses. (Also there is no option to text a landline so you can't send make the bt woman say stupid jokes!)
Overall i give it 10 for looks, 8 for build quality, 6 for amount of features but only 3 for performance.
