Let me confuse you a little bit more.Lol.
D830 has another issue.I'm not sure how much camera user you are. It doesnt have a dedicated camera button on the side..that means you have to open the flip and take a pic...the front display is tiny, so it would help in self protrait. Just wanted to let you know before you make up your mind.

IMO This phone is purely fashion phone, just for the record.

<unknown> Got my D830 two days ago and it is a GREAT mobile. MUCH slimmer than V3i and higher specification.

Guys like DEL either i) do not know to appreciate good phones ii) never actually bought the damn thing and they are just anti-Samsung.

Kal There is absolutely NO comparsion with that dull 6230i or anyother model with this thinnest clamshell at this time. No one has a 9.9mm clamshell.

bex Don't buy this phone it is really rubbish and the features are atrocious get the Samsung z400 instead. P.S or get the sony erikkissson w800I best phone out. Even though it looks like a mans phone. This phone is for girls the style but it looks mega fat at the back.

I'm still stuck on what phone to get but I will prob get the z4000 as it's failry priced and all I want to pay for the phone.

Anyone like the new nnokia n83 it looks wlel mint but too big.

I've very well built, Made of Titanium metal i think, Feels nice in the hand and the pocket. Extreamlt Thin, suprised me how thin it was...it's actualy thiner than the Motorola SLVR L7, witch is a bar type..
The menues are exactley the same as the E900, The D900 menues are slightly diforent...
The only draw back I can see is the key pad. Its even wors than the D800 was. Too flat. Not very responcive, I supose I will get used to it in time, The Cetral Menue directunal buttns are also of the flat type, The whole key arangment is as one, I strugle with it, But there again I do have fat fingers..

Good phone, Exelant Build, Good Looking. Shame about the KeyPad

santa Being a tech geek, i do research on all the tech stuff from all sources, from reviews and magazins and papers and press launches for that product itself...

Now, i must be honest to you all that the phone's design is very subjective to everyone as everyone has their own liking and i respect that...Samsung mentioned that they are tired of the outer display being colorful and all the pastel colors and big screen, they decided to go classic style...monocrom wordings and simple text line enough to let u know if ya have a msg and missed call/voice call...

the thickness is the prime of its kind as no any other phone is slimmer than this and the weight of it is awesome. u have to feel it to know wat i'm saying as its so thin, u sometimes wont know tat its in ya pocket...fragile? Nope, its as sturdy as it looks...outer mono display means longer battery life, true but it doesn make tat much a diff...a 2hours max calling time and a few text here and there...boy u need to charge the baby again if u wana pull through the day not missing out calls or text...battery life now is the weakness of all phones and brands...as long as its colored screen and camera, man ya juice runs out fast...

screen display are crisps and high pixelated, very detailed and fine...ringing tone is as good as there's stereo system which let out awesome music sounds....

3G is not in, tats a downer, no Wifi which also makes it sad as its supposed to be considered one of the futuristic phone for samsung...oh if u guys dint know, this baby rings and vibrates at the same time...unlike the old sam phones tat vibrates then ring or ring then vib...now they finally keep up with the trend...

the rest are more or less basic samsung stuff, blue tooth same old same old, ringing tone same old same old...design wise for the key pad is very flat and some might just find it a bit weird typing on it if its the first time using flat key pads...but its damn flat and cool as its like ipod kinda feel....its a classic look overall and it potrays business man or classy cool look whenever u flip it out in public,head turner i'd say...

pictures taken are clear and crisps as well, 2MP, aint tat bad...memory wise is quite ok, cant complain much as there's external card slot..oh the internal screen back ground color is black so its cool and sleek as not many phone uses black as backgroud color...if u dont like it? u can change it...tats the beauty of samsung...wall papers does fine with it, mp3, midi....
