Samsung D800 Details

Sash To Christina:

I hope you get this on time...

1)the d800 is a tri-band(900/1800/1900), d807 is quad (has 850MHz)- which means that you can make a call in any part of the world.
2)Also, d807 has a microSD card slot which is very necessary (as least for me).
3)D800 has a tv output, while d807 doesn't.
4)D800's display is higher in resolution, but it really difficult to see. I don't think the lower resolution display is a big drawback in d807.

Personally, american d807 is better than d800.

Good Luck!!!

NGQ I Just bought this phone and I agree that it's a huge pain that it stays lit while charging! I wonder how long that'll allow the phone to last before the screen dies. Anyway, it CAN ring and vibrate, but only for phone calls (as far as i've found) it can only ring OR vibrate for texts. Overall, i completely dig this phone, despite the very bright nightlight it provides.

Abe Had this Phone for 3 Months now and I think it is great
I am a big SE fan and it took a lot of convincing for me to get the handset but i do not regret the decision for a moment
The only negative comments I have is that it took me maybe a day to get used to the keypad

There you go C Ya

foot i have this phone just got it.. i don't like it though.... screen is easy to scratch and its kinda big >_> i don't really suggest getting this phone its ok for like "show" value but other than that its not so great

u'd rather get the d600...

<unknown> if you go in2 settind u no u can turn off the backlight while it is charging i woz able to do it

Alexander Hi Everyone i have D800 and i have it 3 monts and there is no problem everything is working just fine . i like my rsolution 240 x 320 with 256 colours nice display .there is some buttons that they are not so confortable to press but it is ok.

Tim Hello People!

Last year in November I bought a D800. 5 months I had no problems with this telephone. Suddenly my display did not funtion good any more. I still do not know how this is possible... So I advice you to buy not a Samsung D800. Maybe it is better to buy a telephone from another brand...
Greetings,

Tim

<unknown> well what can i say..i love the phone. Seriously i have fallen in love with it, i really don't see why people have so many complaints about it because in my opinion there really isn't much wrong with the phone..before this i had the D600 and well what can i say The D600 has absolutely nothing on the D800!! Its simply great..worth the money!!

Drew Wow, just bought the Cingular USA version of this phone and I can't wait to go back to my t809(T-Mobile branded D820). The keypad is cheap, it seems like a rubber shield the dentist uses when you are getting a root canal. The slide is really tight too, had to use some force and the thing popped right out of my hand.

roger Samsung oftenly claim that their D series is for business people but the battery life is contradict to their claim. Considering the battery life..It's a kid phone for God's sake! I just wondering will samsung release their phone (especially the D series) at least 450 hours standby time and 8 hours for talk time... Hmmm neeehhhh i think it will be xenium series of philips (yup that real business phone)...
