james tnx kal..so i think 30X36mm is fine..i myt get this one..W810 has 29X35mm but its screen looks bigger than D720..maybe it's really because of d design..by d way, where can we get themes?zedge & mobile9 dont seem to have themes for D720..

ye i know about the adaptor but im on teh phone at least 2 hours a day and no its hard to hear me with the mic on the headset so i was wonder what the pin outs are so i can rewire lets say, a sony ericson headset for my phone. It would also help if someone could tell me how to open the headset so i can simply replace the mic.

McX disadvantage = mine don't have voice comand but i don't really use it though.. o yea i think the main disadvantage is its MMC Micro, difficult to find in my country (Indonesia)..

OVerall, i love it.. thx samsung for making this fone :)

Kal Few things missing in 720:

FullScreen Video/Image:
The usual trick to play fullscreen video by pressing '1' doesnt work on this phone. Afterall its a Nokia phone with Samsung hardware. Does anyone know any trick to play fullscreen video in landscape mode. Now i have to install a software to do that.
There is no landscape mode while taking still image either.

Video Quality:
Specs says "MPEG4 video recording & playback"
Thats wrong. It records 3GP video, quality is not good. But it plays MPEG4 files.

Audio in bakground:
While playing mp3s press "menu" and exit the menu. Mp3 player goes in background and keeps playing. Now you can write sms or open contacts/callender etc. But you can't open the camera. Then the music will stop.

Missedcall/SMS indicator:
Unlike my other Samsungs this doesnt have a misscall/SMS indicating light. Service lights doesn't flash. Screen lits up once to show you have a misscall or sms and then goes black after few seconds.Dosnt show time and date after the backlight is gone either.

Anyone knows any tricks or softwares to make this happen..plz post.

The speaker works fine for me. With headset its always better. I dont know why people pay $1000USd to get a brick size N91 to have a little better sound quality.Anyways I charge the phone every second day. The battery indicator has only 3 bar. So after 48hours of use it comes to one bar..and im sure it can last a little longer but I do charge it coz I dont wanna ran out of it. I carry the USb cable always..Good thing is you can charge with USb cable as well, just in case.
Anyways if u have any question do ask.I bought this becoz I wanted to have a symbian and all nokia smart phones are big and heavy and I love samsung design. Its perfect for me. Samsung hardware+nokia software.

umazel gwapo hello... can i have a radio software installed in this phone? this phone is very nice! the sound and the form is awesome but the only thing missing is that it lacks camera in front...

plemix has it for less than 300USD now, but they dont deliver to Philinies I guess. Check it out.
I would say, wait for a little and the price will drop. I paid close to 400USD now its less than 300.

It looks and feels so good in hand..I personally belive, the only other model that comes close to the elegant look would be the new E900.

<unknown> As you guys know the headset for D720 and most of the samsung phones is absolute CRAP. I was wondering if anyone knew the pinouts for this 10 pin port or any clue how to make there own headset. Thanks
