<unknown> As everyone knows, this is linux OS embeded smartphone. Does everyone know can user either download linux software via network or internet, or instoll the software from SD card or computer?
I saw user can download Java application, but I don't know about other application.
KYO i have 2 more questions.... how come i can't play any of the games that comes with the phone? and i cant get into the java manager either.... and my phone's memory capitcity is FREE 0MB, USED 0MB... -.-"

Mahesh Can anyone please post me the link to download the Online readable Manual pls since I am unable to find the user manual for this particular Philips model. I dont need Bluetooth or Irda or any of the EDGE gprs feature. I just need to know about this phone since its not yet available here
marc ok, i actually own this phone and it's pretty nice. linux os does not get in the way of pc connection, philips has provided special 968 software. manual can be found on philips hong kong site, i english or chinese. java machine is webshere by ibm. it's ok, most stuff runs on it. anyone have real questions, email me. marc
Brian Lee I dont think so that Philips copy and paste N90... and cmon guys.. Not everyone like Nokia and give some space for new comers.. dont always compare it with "nokia, nokia, nokia..." the keypad are different and camera also different coz n90 could rotate and philips couldnt. I believe one day Philips could improve their features.. go for it Philips.. get urself upgrade into better soon...
Rubi S First i confuse with what u guys talking, u guys said that this model of philips twin with N90, in my opionion this tipe of philips is totaly different with nokia N90. you could se from the camera potition, dan keypad. also color ornament , it is very different.
And philips 968 focused it's video reocord capability, the swing concept first time made by samsung. and the os philips using linux and nokia using symbian is totaly diffent.
i have see the 960 with the linux os, it is cool. You could change the themes, including the animation icons and other color and background like using the real desktop linux. and give u a different felling.
for the first use when u change the theme , u like a changing the os :D fully costumize :D...
