Philips 859 Details

rikleeds hey there all im thinking bout getting this fone but i am un shore i dont know if to get the sony Ericsson 750i over here in the uk. i do like the look of the philips fone and if i get it no bugger will have the same fone as me. so should i get it people get back thanx

Stephane 855 is exactly the same, just design change. ("Best" 2004 models). But all Philips models have almost same features. Philips makes only "middle-end" models.
I will receiv 855 West European version (French, German...) within 3-4 days !

polypixel Hi. I recently bought this phone.. works fine, but during talking i hear very low volume of voice of other side
I increased this level to maximum, but voice volume still not satisfying..

any ideas ? thanks.

robert me again, to ask anyone who actually owns this phone to confirm me weather it is or it isn't made of metal (I mean the case); What about the scrren window, glass or plastic? Thanks

Kuldeep Hi mobile crazy people,

I am also one crazy guy who is looking to buy this phone, price is great for such features, but what about performance and also i have heard that it has got some software problem is it true? please let me know.

Kuldeep

Bill Michael Jang: That's a software problem. Nothing else. If you don't trust Philips because of a simple problem like that, you should probably stop buying mobile phones and send letters and telegrams instead.

marcois well for all the posters who have strong opinions about this phone, but do not OWN one, listen up. I do own one, and it's a very nice little phone. Good reception, decent camera (for the money), nice color screen, good internet features, and it really fits into any pocket. What the heck else is a phone in this price range supposed to do? and by the way, I don't think bluetooth is necassary in a phone, so I don't miss it, though I understand others feel differently. I use phones for a month or two and move on. I've had nokia, Motorola, Sony, Sendo, Siemens (least fav) and this Philips is as good as any of them. Actually, it's better than any Moto, Siemens or Sony I've owned.

lj I am going to purchase this phone soon.
how is reception. does it come with data cable or tv cable. how is the camera.

vandy i had bought this phone a week back, and feel that there is no standby available..and ear volume is to low to even understand what the other person is saying...i feel this was not a great deal..i am feeling sorry to buy it...even resale is not there..i think it was a bad decision all togather?really sorry to say pl..stop this model

feng it looks nice and the function is ok, but i want to know the price
