angry phone user-Jem I've just got this phone for cristmas and am extremly worried, there have been so many awful reviews, I tried the camera the other day and to be honest thought it was rubbish, as my old phone {which I am reconsidering using again was the brilliant Nokia 6230, which had a great camera and all the things i needed} whereas this phone hasn't , I feel let down and wish I could take it back. But I suppose it was my fault it did only cost £100 whereas the Nokia cost £179. But I cant help feeling angry.

<unknown> No the x3 doesnt have FM. it doesnt even have loudspeaker for when makeing calls which is kinda stupid considering there is a built in loudpeaker for the mp3. yes you can record sounds and set them as a ringtone aswell

though the phone is good, but the infrared is not sending data to another phone, and if their is a way of tranferring data through the infrared, pls explain to me & send the phone code through the mail address above. thanks kayode adeniyi

jaimin o2 x3 is good phone with most fetures
you can down load songs, vidio or
images through sd card
you never insert mp3 songs or vidio files
through data cable. you have must card reader
for download song or vidio,
if you face problem in upload imeges
thorogh data cable you upload *.jpg file
not more than 100k to 125k
otherwise it taks very long time

Liam Hi, yes i deffinatly recommend this phone for a teenager deffinatly, i've been using the phone for a year and still nothing wrong with it so there is proof that this phone isn't always bad :D lol dispite some of the reviews. The MP3 player is very very good, Pictures are ok not the best but its a phone what do you expect the menus look great and an amazing display great phone. Although i'd also recommend the O2XM thats 2 steps up from this phone, the only difference being that that phone only records video for 9 seconds and the X3 is unlimited. Hope this helped.

Problems to date -
Often freezes / locks up when playing games
I brought 3 games for it through the wap site when I was on holiday, Splinter Cell PT, Rayman 3 and Worms.

Splinter Cell and Worms get as far as the 'new game' screen before locking up , Rayman 3 works when it wants to though - and remember these games were brought from the 02 wap site - meaning they're supposed to work on this piece of crap.
The infra-red option doesn't work on either of the mobiles.
And also the light under the button 7 has broke.

On my sis's mobile :
Her's is totally useless

It won't charge
When it worked it would randomly start charging even if it wasn't connected to the charger - wtf!
Virbration got stuck on regularly
Now it won't even turn on : you plug in the charger, press the on button and it freezes and the screen just shows a black line - It still displays the 02 logo / charger display and makes that charging noise but it wont do anything else.

Also adding to the insult of the mobile, there is no way to silence the phone - when the 'silence' option is selected it vibrates by default.
And to get mp3 files onto the mobile you need to buy an adapter for your computer.

Shite mobile / utterly useless - If you have sense you'll avoid.

And the fact you can are limited on your wap downloads to the pathetic inner memory is a really pain and makes the memory card virtually useless.

The only good thing this mobile gave me was free 24 / 7 wap access which I used while abroad for a month! So I probably spend well over the price of the phone on wap access."

Well I can say that you are talking bolox. The only way the light under number 7 should break is dirt or not caring for the phone. As for the not booting, leave the battery out for 12 - 24 hours then try again. As for the games, there are actually disclaimers that state the games are not guaranteed to work on your phone. Infrared only recieves, this is a common fact. If you were to try and use the phone as its supposed to be used, rather than pretending its a Nokia.

I've had the X3 since release (Sept.Oct 04) and it has never let me down at all. Excellent phone.

ell this phone is a waste of money and time i hav taken it back 2 da shop 4 times, the screen crashes and some times the wallpaper dissappears the phone has a mind of its own.to get mp3 on it u hav 2 buy SanDisk so the mini sd can go in and thats goes in2 ur usb. the sandisk cost about £20 frm o2 shops.hope i help ur question for any1 that needed 2 no.

Matt Infrared - You can only accept things using infrared, get the person to send it and then activate yours, and then you should recieve the item :D

soul can anyone help?....... for some wierd reason my fone has stopped recieving mms messages, and wont send them. i have been too o2 shop and they were helpful, but not enough too solve the problem. they went through the settings and said its ok but im not convinced,,,, any suggestions ?
