Machu Please can someone tell me where the vibration of this phone is pls.... or where i can swith it on...

thanx a lot for the precious advice i downloaded and installed the nokia software updater from nokia.co.uk my older version of firmware was 1.00 now its been updated to 1.10 wher as every one has the 2.00 software .i badly need it coz i can see my display fliccer whenever i call some1 or if some one calls me .its beeen said that the problem of disolay is solved in 2.00 firmware so want to update to that version from 1.10 and i guess the production of n 91 -1 is stopped because of this display problem here in india.i did it from the uk site should i try doing it from the usa site ?i mean gettin the nokia software updater from the usa site?

please help me out

I just upgraded my N91 with the official SW from Nokia and its GREAT!. Now I can update my own N91 when new Sw comes or refresh my device if somehow I screw it up:

Bader the 256MB is what your PC must have in RAM. My older PC got the same message and I had to use my newer laptop.

Pappy try it out! Info:

1) Make sure you have the latest PC suite (6.81)from : http://europe.nokia.com/A4144903, or other local regional sites.

2) Install the Nokia software update application sw from http://www.nokia.co.uk/softwareupdate (note you need 256MBytes of RAM on your PC)

3) Then program your phone

a) Backup your phone memory (ROM) using PC suite (to preserve your DRM activation keys etc).

b) Copy your files (Music, Videos, Documents, Images etc) from the device HDD to your PC (recommended to use USB Mass storage).

c) Copy your applications, themes etc (original SISX, Java etc files before you installed them) from your HDD to your PC (Do not simply copy the installed directories/files over)

d) FORMAT your HDD

e) Proceed with SW update (note you need to be attached to a charger and not in offline mode. Do not answer or make call or disconnect the device during this process)

f) Reset your phone memory by typing *#7370# (code 12345) (recommend this just to be safe)

g) Restore your phone memory using PC suite

h) Copy back your HDD contents from your PC to your clean HDD

h) Re-install your applications/themes

Where are you located and did you get your phone through an operator (O2 etc?). It could be tht your country/operator has not approved the sw yet (they will eventually im sure). For the time being 1.10 is still better than 1.00 but no WDRM.

N series are special edition from Nokia with higher price.
N91 has many features including Wifi,symbian,3G,music quality (via headset) and average camera but sure the highest price.
But if you don't need/use symbian and Wifi than you can choose SE W900i as an alternatief high end music phone.It has better camera and 3G also,it has 470Mb internal memory and you can expand with 2Gb external memory.(I hear a rumour that it can also accept until 4Gb external memory but I don't know if that's true or not).
If you don't need 3G than W810i is a good choice also with normal size phone and nice model.Only the video capability fewer resolutie in compare with W900i.

Nitin Wat's the difference b/w N91-1 & N91-5 ??

I also have a n91-5 ,I m from INDIA. I have a version 1.10 and i just wanna to upgrade it to 2.00, infact i was tryind to do so but its not working. Raaghav if u got any update information abut 2.00 plz inform me soon AND if i get any information i'll inform u. thanks
