Nokia E70 Details
Archi Hello,
I have read that the memory full problem during browsing can be handled by simply clearing the browser memory. Could someone please confirm this, by loading CNN a couple of times and when you get the "memory full" please clear the browser cash and try again to reload. Does it work that way?

Kostas This is a really great phone but i need to know some more things about it before i go out and buy one:
- When you say that it takes a lot of time to change orientation, does it take "irritating" long or "enough-already" long or is it just "not-instant" long?
- Do you experience any crashes? (other than too many apps open or other human mistake)
- ANYONE tested it with a Mac? For sync and net surfing/instant messaging etc.
- Have you tried recording a call? Is it ONLY 60 seconds?

nite Thanx again Felix. I have a w810 and while I love the MP3 on it and the camera, I need something to hey my email off my blackberry. This phone seems perfect but how does it run on cingulars network with the umts band in regards to reception. I am wondering if I should just wait for Cingular to have the umts band and the hey it. Any feed back?

Just got my E-70. Original set in KL. Here are my short review on this...
Just because I bought this doesn't meant it is the best compare to others but it depends on individual need. And after used it about a day, now I know why it's a business phone. Just get a Nokia HDS-3 stereo headphone and you just converted your E70 to multimedia phone.
Battery
I done single charge, use wifi at KL airport more 3 hours. Play MP3 more 1.5 hours. SMS about 15 to 20 same day. Call about 30 min... And still got 5 bar running (total 7 bar).
Size...
Jus nice... little bulky but you got everything in 1. Remeber e70 got wifi. and it is a 3G phone.
Screen
Bright...compare to other... well if you compare with pda... you can't compare the battery life...
Extended memory
Got 1 gb miniSD... doesn't slow down the system it seem.
Qwerty keyboard
this is roll eyes... Imagine typing 300 character of e-mail... enough said. Yes..300...
camera..
So so.... can't expect much on 2mp... Want better go for digital cam...
But can't focus macro...
Video...
Great ... just great... better video then other....
Sound...
Just nice... no need to blast so hard... you want ppl at cinema hear your phone... Most business ppl put the phone quite mode...
OK now... Bad thing about E-70
1. Cant switch off camera sound.
2. If your wifi router running on fix ip or with different subnet. E70 won't connect.
3. Need to clear cache file all time..
4. Run video on real player.. cannot choose middle track.. Need to find other software.
5. Can't find equalizer...anyone can assist me on this..

what's the difference between H263 video format and MP4? whatt does H263 means?
Is there anyway that you can still use video calling even though it has no front camera?

Ranger I'm using my e70 on maxis unlimitd data package.
maxis service countr at KLCC bungled up by saying that e70 is not supported since it is new.
however, in came another service reps with very nimble fingers who set my phone up in less than a minute.
my e70 is now surfiinng n browsinng anywhere flawlessly.
nite i absolutely love the specs on this phone but i am wondering where i can get a 3g black model. if any1 knows where to get a hold of one let me know.
rx check whether the phone is set to auto checking wifi availability:
(menu structure from my E61, should be the same as E70?)
Tools / Settings / Connection / Wireless LAN / Show availability
disable the wifi auto checking.
Bab Does anyone know if this phone will work with Cingular in Michigan. I have heard different things, Cingular says this phone is not compatible with their system, but others say it is. Does anyone know for sure because it seems the european version is being sold in the US right now.
john.c. does this phone have a real-one player. it says in the nokia website that this phone doesn't have but here in gsmarena, their review says it has.
