Nokia 9300 Details

saber hi, just got my 9300, so far quite happy, can anyone help with contacts recognition. When a call comes in it just displays the phone number and not the name I have recorded in Contacts? Would appreciate your help.

Rafiq Tala'at Hassen I've been using Nokia 9110 for more than 6 Years with no sever problems& perfect performance.
I bought 9300 6 months ago when my nightmares started with
1) Almost once / twice crashes daily
2) Hardly to manage call waiting
3) Phone External Screen freezes (seems working) but Communicator screen shows application error (With Complete malfunction)
4) S/W Crashes with no reason and Startup waits for Time & dates
5) "Azan Application" cam bundled within Middle East & never seen working on any??
6) The S/W is Very Slow
For the previously mentioned first 4 problems
The Solution is to remove the battery to restart it
Unfortunately it sounds that this is the start of the end for Nokia as per, following Market monopolization Pattern to fail.
btw no solution what so ever, except for selling this junk!!!!!!

<unknown> When will nokia stop using symbian plateform??? I hate this plateform. It is so slow. Take age to open one pic. Bloody hard to find software. Come on nokia change to window mobile. Much much better. I changed my Nokia 9500 to O2 IIs because of that plateform. I love the style of Nokia 9500. It look like laptop the same as 9300. Oh nokia. Pl change to that window mobile

bliksem I would like the following features on the otherwise brilliant handset.
1. Predictive text
2. Ability to delete individual call records
3. Vibration
4. Radio
5. Streaming audio
6. Ability to access LAN networks.

leashed it`s a good fone.but can some1 pls tell me where the irda port is? i don`t xpect it to be replaced wit bluetoth.

Moataz ElToukhy well i have bought communicator 9300 yesterday from egypt.

It is a good device but i have some comments.

first my last phone was nokia 6630 and it really was a good phone but i want to have communicator so i bought this phone but i found that the software is too old (1-2-2005) and we are in (23-6-2006) , so is it possible that nokia didnt find any problems and modify a new software?

i know that there must be a reason of saying that, my reasons is when phoning from outside phone there is no log in it and also no summary after call also no duration while calling. also i have to know from my previous phone that when i am calling any one when answering then the outside light is open , this problems didnt face me when i call from communicator (inside) but i am afraid that the door will open by itself after a little time. i find also that the battery is so bad because i charge it till full charge and i found that it lose half the power in first day. i am not interested in the vibration and camera. so please if someone have an advice to me what to do please connect me on my mail.

chris Can the 9300/9500 sync with a mac?

Veyron I had this phone for almost a year and I was very impressed by all the functions. There is only one problem - No Vibration! There is MSN Software available; Download LimeWire from www.limewire.com and search for "Series 80 MSN"... Good Luck
