Carlosh This phone could be perfect, but it hasn't got one thing to be perfect.. It's not shock-proof. I need this.. Mine N3220 looks awful because of a lot of shocks. :D

I've got a D600 and it's the best phone I've ever used :) The only thing is that it was expensive and it's too flashy, so I'm afraid to take it when I go out clubbing or even jogging after sunset. I think I'll get this 1112 as a 2nd phone. Thanks for your comment, it really helped. :)

hmm hey all these 13 year old braindeads! it's too funny to read that you only wan't to see phones with somekind of xMP camera. why don't you buy an expensive piece of crap then? some of the phones have every possible stuff in it.

but this phone is definately for me cause i've already got a professional camera and just need a phone that i can use for calling and messaging. monochrome display and mp3 tones is the best solution, because it's longlife and it's possible to personalize your phone with different mp3 ringtones. those oldschool monochrome with squeeking tones are too awful anyway... nice to see that NOKIA at last thought of building a mobile phone, not to stick with the shiny crap thatthe market is full of.

my only concern is that the produce cost is like 20% of the sales price... that gives 80% profit from the final price to NOKIA :(

chrissie everyone get over the bagging nokia. just cos this phone doesn't have a camera and coloured screen who really cares hey.. There will be a lot of people buying this phone. the older generation love black and white screens because they can see it and the amount of people that buy the 1100's just for an emergency phone.. nokia are smart. It will be a low cost basic and easy to use phone. Great for beginners or just so people can keep in touch.. Why should people have to buy 2mp camera phones and super dooper expensive phones if they don't need them or want them...

Dfn8ly In the US market this phone is specifically made as the sucessor to the Nokia 1100 which is in the prepaid market. Performs as well as it can being designed as a "make and receive" calls monochromatic cell-phone. If you want color with bells and whistles go buy a Samsung....

Koné very simple indeed, this phone! I'll buy one for my grand mum. She would be happy to have a simple mobile to use just in case she needs some one in the family.

Kal When SE, Samsung, Lg are busy coming up with new high end feature-rich models, Its interesting to see Nokia and Motorolla working on some low-end basic models as well. It makes sense though. That's how they are still number 1 n 2.You have to serve everyone.

Wasiim Cheap phone...but many good functions, the only drawback is its not shock proof, the best cheap phone ever wiz shock proof is the 5210!!!
