CONS:
* often the alarm fail to ring due uncleare reasons. This is a very nasty bug. Imagine, I was in a bussines trip and I failed to wake up in time due this telephone alarm failure.
This bug is reproducible !!! So NEVER trust in this telephone alarm.
* the signal isn't that good as they claim.
* disturbing echo during the phone calls may appear withaut an obvious cause.
* Come on,... in 2005 they don't offer you any calendar feature
* remove the battery and put it back. You will see that it will loose all your user setting. That is extremely bad and unpleasant.


PROS:
* low price, for no features
* torch ;)
* good battery life



Conclusion:
Nokia 1100 and 1101 are disappointing!... so basic and full of bugs !!??? :
In the past I had a 4 years ols Alcatel 311, http://www.gsmarena.com/alcate..._311-285.php and was more featured than this telephone.
What should I add more?

lOnElinEsS I just read this.. somebody said that it has 4 days battery life after sending sms and talking. I record videos, take photos, listen to mp3's.. and my battery life is kind of the same! Come on.. it's a walkie talkie not a phone

bombardier i don't think that this phone is for teenagers...they want camera, mp3, stereo sound, etc... I have 14 years(a teenager) and i own an N70 and none of my friends have a phone worse than the Sony-Ericsson K500i...

nakedsanta Well, i have this phone for 3 weeks now, got it for free, i had to choose between this and a siemens mc60...i didn`t have to think for a sec...i mean, c`mon, i need a phone for calling, and sending messages, after all, that's the primary purpose of a phone, right? well, with this one, it's very easy, writting a message is child play, and the signal is great (at least, i had no probs). altough the siemens was also free, and had a colour screen and camera, it ain't that good. i had nokia's and siemens'es before. nokia are very strong built. dropped them on the stars, got'em wet, put them to extrem shocks, and they passed everything great...not the same happened for the siemens'es (killed 5 till now - RIP). So, my opinion, if u need a phone that's strong, small, light, and u need it to make calls, receive callss, send and receive messages, then this is the phone for u...if u need useless gadgets (camera ? no thanks, till now i found no phone able to beat my sony digital camera - 8 mpx ;), mp3player ? buy an ipod), go ahea, buy a phone with lotz of gadgets, but don`t come around cryin` that your phone swtitched off during an important call, because your battery died. That`s all i had to say. Regards from romania

cucu It's simple, small, 6 days battery (with talking) and not expensive. And it's Nokia. But I have to admit I miss a little bit my Ericsson T65, i like that menu better :D

Blood I think Nokia 1101 is made for teenagers.They don t need too many things on their phone...
