Rich Cobbinah Where can I buy this phone in the U.S? Please advise on a website on where to buy, thanks...it would be greatly appreciated!!!
wizard can anyone tell me how to use SIM card in this phone instead of FOMA card? it's worthless having this phone in the philippines if i can't use it!
<unknown> Generally FOMA handsets operate on a different spec from UMTS, and are not compatible on any network other than Docomo. But, foreign UMTS handsets can roam on docomo's network where they have compatible equipment. Moreover, I can use my Docomo Foma card and my Nokia 6630 (sim-free) and have no problems with reception or IMode access in my city.
About the N900iG...I guess some factory unlocked models were shipped, but not so many. And it doesn't look like any more will ship. Too bad.
Joe If someone knows how to desimlock this handset (coming from Japan), that would be great ! (email me tx)
