Motorola V878 Details

SC I had this phone for 1 yr now, it was a nice looking phone but sometimes I find it a bit inconvenient w/out the bluetooth or IR. The reception was ok and the sms entry was not as intuitive as the SE T68 I used previously. Then it started having problems:
1) Both batteries used to last 3 days, but now they last only about 1 1/2 days, so I have to charge it everyday.
2) For some unknow reason it would miss some sms.
3) Finally both the external & internal screens died on me and went completely white. Now I can't even trade in the phone. Good thing I kept my SE T68 for bakcup. Don't think I'll buy another Moto...

<unknown> another poor customer stuck with a piece of junk. My deepest sympathy goes out for you Jarrett... I hope you can get it fixed somehow and be able to use it again.

Kris I've had this phone for a year now and I totally love it! i've lost it once and i still bought the exact same one again...
i think the reception works well as well as the battery life last just enough..
it's light, pretty, slim, everywhere i carry in the world people also love it. the keypad design is also really nice..

<unknown> after a month of using it, the screen went blank. i got another one, and now, after only 3 months of using it, i can't seem to charge the battery....it seems like the battery is dead now...this phone looks nice, but it's a junk...hope the phone still works when i put in a new battery....anyone else w similar problems..?

mIQe The Phone is getting old... Time for a RAZR V3x or a SLVR L7 all you Motorola fans! I was looking forward for the E1120 to come out on the market, but it's such a pitty that they cancelled it :(! But overall, I was pleased of my V878 while i had it for two years and I've had no problems with it whatsoever.

D It is the confirmation of the voice mail that you received...... I think you can arranged your phone, so that you will not get that everytime you received a voice mail......

<unknown> my deepest sympathy goes to you Annie.... You got stuck with the piece of junk like everyone else who bought this model and other motorola. I hope you can get it fixed or exchanged there where you live. Like the V300, 600, 180, etc. it just wasn't design right and it's plagued with problems.

Bill Graham Can anyone help me to view videos I have downloaded from my V878 phone to my PC? Photographs are fine but I can't find a player to view the .noa video files. Thanks.

Mihai (Romania) oh! i forgot! there's no way you can find a java game to suit this phone on the internet!!!

TuanAnh Can anynone teach me how to transfer a .mp3 file to my V878 as a ringtone. Thanks!
