Julz Hmm. I don't know what to say about this phone. I have the white Roberto Cavalli. The design is alright but I'm not sure about the rest. The battery is quite terrible and runs out very quickly and the camera is absolutely dreadful. The phone also lags. I hate it how settings for things like camera always return to default and you have to set them everytime. Personally, I would not recommend this phone. xx

Tal Shiar I have had a U880 for a few weeks now in Australia on 3, and I love it! Many of the problems people have described are solved if you follow the manual, or directions on the CD for PC link up. DO NOT hook up the phone/USB cable before you install the USB driver (1st), followed by the software(2nd). THEN(3rd!) plug the phone into the PC. If it doesn't recognise, unplug, restart the phone, and plug in. All done. Easy!

You can transfer what you like to the phone - MP3's, Videos, Pics etc, the program is very easy, just drag and drop. A little slow at USB1 speeds, but grab yourself a MicroSD card & adapter and transfer via a USB2 SD card slot on your PC. I have to agree, that the earphones supplied by LG are terrible, very quiet, and a bad fit for any ear. If you can obtain a short converter cable (I got one from ebay cheaply) so you can plug in normal earphones, the sound quality is great, and VERY loud through headphones. The loudspeaker is a little tinny, but you can't expect more from a pair of 5mm speakers. The display is clear and crisp, and not quite the resolution of some other phones (Moto V3X for eg), it is more then enough for great photo viewing and for web/planet 3 stuff. The camera takes a decent size pic (1.3mp), not really for prints, but handy if you forget your digital camera and want to capture the moment. There is a known issue with this phone on "3" in Australia... auto-retreival of emails from the 3 server will play cause any new voicemails to be sent to your "kept messages" section of voicemail with 3. On the upside, if you set up your 3 email, you can retreive your voicemails via email as a wav file, so you need not spend money dialing into voicemail! 3 does limit emails to 300kb though. Apparently newer versions of the U880 with the "3 Player" have the option for auto email retreival disabled in the menu systems though.

Overall, a great phone. If you read the manual, and ring 3 for help, you will get the most out of it. Cheers!
