LG L342i Details

Bec Hey does this phone have any recording devices? A voice recorder plz tell me

Cristina I have cable for LG L342i but I can't save the pictures from phone on computer!I need software for my phone!!!If anybody can help me, please, send my an email with this software!!!
Thanks!!!!!!!

garry Had phone for about a week, went dead, took out battery and resterted but will not function correctly, keeps "searching!!!!!!
Looks like it,s true what they say about LG

Rob i found the cable to connect the LG L342i to the pc.. it is a LG RS232 cable.. you can search on google with the string: L342i RS232 cable

benny A friend of me and i wanted a new mobile, he went too the shop en bought one: the LG L342i for €119.00. with 3.5 mb memory no MP3 ringtones and no bluetooth(for i Know). Just two months later i saw in the shop of kruidvat a motorola v525 for €70,00! with 5 MB memory, MP3 ringtones, bluetooth sharper pictures and more. now this friend isn't happu:((sorry my english isn't very good)

Jeroen THe only reason i have not had to repair this one is because i try to avoid this excuse of a communication device. Yes, it works, but that is all that I can say beout it.. Almost any added function sucks.. Up to and including the ways of storing contacts...
On more then one occation i have been tempted to use the L342i as a hammering device, even if there were more suitable objects near... But since the insurance will only give me the same device back, breaking it just means anohter one of those crap devices. Since I can hardly think of some one inhis sane mind would actually buy this device on purpose I fear the phone companies have a lot of those personal trinklets of hell in storage to give as replacement devices (I got it as my contract with my provider was about to end, in excahnge for 2 more years.. yeah i should have looked at the device first)

t This phone needs the same USB-cable as another LG-phone. Does anyone knopw what phone that is?

<unknown> I've had this phone for 4 months.
I'd not buy it again.

First the internal screen stopped working almost immediately and I waited two months to get it repaired.

The software is buggy, The internal game doens't work so I'm not sure if it is good or not. The external display gets stuck on the "call in progress" graphic if you close phone without disconnecting a call. The "Please Wait" message appears fairly frequently and it takes ages to startup.

But, the most annoying thing is that LG seem to have forgotten the phone's primary uses. To call and sms. For some reason, they decided to put two buttons to access the camera (thats fairly useless), one button to read the Email (ie. spend money) one button to enter in I-Mode (also fairly useless) and no button to read sms...??!!

But a good point about the phone is that while the photos are crappy and you have to pay to get them out of the phone the flash light is very bright and makes a handy torch.

My friend advised me to buy a Nokia before I bought this phone, but it was cheap.

Next time I'm going to listen to him.

Sharon This Phone is ugly...HAHA

EJ I do not recommand this phone to anyone as it has a problem of re-charging the battery. It will start giving problems after six months or so...
