Tim The phone is a great concept, and the size of the keypad is something you can get used to. When the SP3 came out, same complaints about the design of the keys, but after a while it was easy to use. Biggest problem facing imate is AFTER SALES (NO) SERVICE. They insisted my phone be sent to UAE for repair (free courier, TNT, very expensive for them) then once there they insisted it was not a warranty repair. Luckily I am in publishing, and had the ability to print an article - after reading the draft article, I was contacted the following day and th ephone was returned - repaired. If you buy, it's a good product - just make sure you buy from a dealer who also REPAIRS for you.

lkj sp5 is far far better than sp5m. no question about it. sp5m sucks in comparison.

tina This phone sucks monkey balls. I hate it. It feels terrible to hold. And the bluetooth is for headphones only. It cannot be used to sync with your pc. For that, you have to use cable. The wifi is WEP only, no WPA.

Someone asked about a SIM manager. What the hell is that? What is there to manage on your SIM card? Tell me more about what you mean by SIM manager and I will tell you if you can do it on this crappy phone.

hesham I am disappointed in this model. You can not search contacts as older model SP3, nor can you insert the name or tel. number when you write a text message. The phone now is at the servise centre for 4 days, just bought it a week ago. I do not if this can be repaired or not.

Big N*ts I heard that i-mate were releasing this minus the wifi. If that is true then that sucks my n*ts. And my n*ts are big.

ADIL I have been using it for more than a month. And am in love with it. No doubts, it is not perfect, but then i have yet to see a perfect phone.

For locking the key pad, you need to press the end button for a few seconds, and the keypad will lock.

To use MP3 as ringtones, place your mp3 or wav files in the SOUNDS folder, which you will find in APPLICATION DATA folder on the root.

Maybe i am lucky, but my phone never required a reboot in the last whole one month, though i use GPRS a lot. The battery is reasonable but not poor, as with bluetooth, wifi and a brilliant display, one should not expect a battery to last very long. The comfort for me is that i can always connect it with my PC usb, and it charges alongwith.

I got this phone and earlier i used I-mate smartphone2 you belive me the phone is excellent the performance is excellent i tried all connecting through ir,bluetooth,Wi-fi and even syncronise nicely wiht my PC ,but some difficulties faced is that i cant blew the wallpapers and select the required portion,it doesn't have sim manager , earlier the club imate support use to be very good but for the past few weeks nobody is picking up my queries. Rest is fine .ok bye for the momment.

<unknown> ok I will say it again, I have this phone and it has NO FLASH, so the difference between this and sp5 is looks and the extra buttons for MP3. this phone is great except for the poorly designed keypad.
